Protect surface with Anti-graffiti and Protective Coatings

Graffiti removal is a costly as well as labour intensive task. Anti-graffiti coatings inhibit the graffiti paint from sticking to surfaces. Graffiti can be made on various places including fences, bridges, overpasses, schools, retaining walls, transit stations, rail cars, municipal buildings, shopping plazas and restrooms, etc. Anti-Graffiti coatings form a non-stick surface that deters graffiti from paint spray cans, permanent markers and paint. They can of two types sacrificial and non-sacrificial.

Sacrificial anti-graffiti coatings get removed along with graffiti. They can be based on wax, water of acrylic, but mostly are water based which is good for environment. Graffiti on such coating can be easily removed by heated water flushing. This also removes the coating and it has to be re-applied after every cleaning.  They are usually invisible and can’t be seen with bare eyes.

A permanent or non-sacrificial anti-graffiti coating does not get removed with graffiti. They are needed to be applied just once. They are usually costlier than sacrificial ones.  Anti-graffiti coatings can be applied on masonry, concrete render, stone, block, tile, brick, slate, fiberglass, metals, timber, porous stone and previously painted surfaces. Sacrificial anti-graffiti coating provide exceptional permanence and long service life.

Anti-graffiti coatings are resistance to UV aging and weathering. Water based coatings allows graffiti to be removed very easily without the use of chemicals. They can be applied in one coat; they dry quickly and also provide high protection from chalking, fading and peeling. They are usually non-toxic and do not pose any health hazards and meet the safety requirements.

Protective coatings and waterproofing is required by all including Commercial, Industrial and Civil sectors to protect ones build investment.  They are needed to be used in situations such as schools, transportation, public spaces, commercial construction, bridges & infrastructure, concrete protection, aquatic centres, etc. It helps the customers in improving processes, minimising outages and down-time, reducing costs, and prolonging equipment life. It helps in enhancing the performance of equipment and machinery.

Protective coatings repel undesirable pollutants and stop harm to the protective surface. They can be easily applies with normal painting process and are self-cleaning as they get easily cleaned with water. They can be applied to almost all kinds of surfaces and provides high UV resistance and protection. They provided protection from corrosion even in very harsh conditions. They are in the form of glossy film, which can be of any thickness as per requirement.

Protective coatings are designed for areas like Pump & Turbine, Bund Areas & Spill Zones, Heat Exchangers & Condensers, Storage Tanks & Process Vessels, Pipelines & Framework, Flooring & Safety Surfacing, Pylons, Towers & Transformers, Concrete Repairs, etc. They are available to suit one’s particular requirement and budget. New technologies are being developed in protective coatings to withstand new challenges.

Protective coatings are available in market for almost all kind of problems. They provide almost immediate return-to-service time and possess excellent crack bridging properties. They can be applied to components of all sizes and shapes. They are highly economical due to high coverage rates.
